Channel Systems for Rainscreen Cladding

HMP Channel systems for rain-screen cladding on to non-load bearing walls or where there are high projection sizes. By using specially designed channel support and restraint brackets, channels are spanned between floor levels, creating a subframe on which installation is enabled by using set screws and nuts.

  • Fixing to sub-channel structure which is attached to load-bearing beams.
  • High load-bearing capability to fit projection sizes up to 360 mm.
  • Greater projection sizes are achieved with special design.
  • Fully adjustable and allows fast installation.
  • Lower anchoring points are achieved therefore decreasing the level of cold bridging.

HMPC-HC1 System

HMPC C Channels are fixed on to concrete beams with HCSP1 channel support brackets. HMPA channels are restrained with HCSP1 restraining brackets to prevent buckling. The dead load is distributed equally on to the supporting HCSP1 brackets. In this particular example, installation is made at horizontal joints.

HMPA-HC2 System

HMPA Channels are supported on to upper concrete beams with HCSP2 support brackets. The dead load in transferred to the upper support bracket. HMPA Channels are restrained to the wall with HCRS2 restraining brackets which secure the channels against wind loads and buckling. In this example installation is made at vertical joints . In this system adjustability is enabled on three dimensions.

HMPC-HC1H System

HMPC 41/41 and HMPC 41/21 C channels are assembled vertically and horizontally to form a grid where higher lateral adjustability is achieved. Channels are connected to each other with HC channel connection elements. HZ01 Z anchors are positioned at desired points along the horizontally placed HMPC C channel to meet the pin holes on the stone panels.
